Ugh!Chris Peduzzi as Doug
Chris stumbled across his ability to sing by accident in college. Taking a music chorale class for fun, he was asked to stay after class one day by the conductor. Since the class was mostly voice majors, and Chris not being a voice major, he feared that the conductor was going to ask him to drop the class because he couldn’t sing. Just the opposite happened. The conductor told him that he had a wonderful instrument, but needed vocal lessons to hone his singing skills. After just one semester of voice lessons, Chris “found” his voice. When his parents came to see him perform in his first concert with the same chorale group, they were shocked to see his name listed in the program as a soloist. Chris had kept his newfound singing ability a secret. Not knowing about his ability to sing, they nervously waited for his solo. Upon performing his solo work, his parents were completely surprised and have been two of his most avid supporters ever since. Working as a Director of Technology for an Irvine-based mortgage company in his day job, Chris performs in his spare time whenever and wherever he can, appearing in theaters in both Orange County and LA County. Chris has appeared in roles such as Judd Fry in ‘Oklahoma!’, Albert Peterson in ‘Bye, Bye Birdie!’, Judas in ‘Godspell’, Orin in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, Charlie Brown in ‘You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’, Ernst in ‘Cabaret’, Johnny Cantone in ‘1940’s Radio Hour’, Anselmo in “Man of LaMancha’, Eva’s brother in ‘Evita’, Jason in ‘Grand Night for Singing’ and many more. Read to me my angel!Rodney Gober as the Phantom!
Rodney hails originally from the Houston area of Texas, where he enjoyed an active background in theatre and the performing arts. He is phantastically and pleasantly pleased to be playing and prancing about with his Masterpiece Mysteries pals once again. As space is of short supply, it shan’t be wasted by listing his various roles here. Suffice it to say that Mr. Gober has been in numerous plays, musicals and revues, been involved with both film and television work and performed in a number of commercials. Most importantly, Rodney hopes that the Bookmarks and their guests this evening are able to vicariously release any desire to fulfill any socially or criminally frowned upon activities that may be lurking in the crevices of their morbid minds by enjoying our spectacle instead. If they do not, a disaster beyond their imagination may occur! Your obedient friend, L. G. Soli Deo Gloria!
