tee hee hee Alie Gibbons as Mustardseed
Alie is very excited about participating in her first production with Masterpiece Mysteries. She currently studies at the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television, where she hopes to attain the knowledge and experience to become a theatrical designer. She was recognized at the MACY awards for her performances as Tessie Tura in Gypsy and Eulailie MacKechnie Shinn in the Music Man under the tutelage of the faculty at the Academy of the Performing Arts, and she was also recognized at the Academy for her performances as Addaperle in The Wiz and Aunt Hester in The Lotus Locust. Favorite roles also include Madame Pernelle in Tartuffe, Jill in The Heidi Chronicles, and Fortune Teller in Side Show. When she is not at school, she works as the resident vocal arranger in the award winning group, OIC. Much appreciation goes out to her parents, her friends, her teachers, and her rubber ducky, Pepito, for putting up with her after all these years.

Nutmeg Angela Amberden as Cobweb
While learning her craft at a very young age, Angela has been a Thespian since the age of 6. Studying abroad lent a hand in her international sucess in children's theatre. While most of adolescent life was spent on the stage, Angela also had the opprotunity to win several Dramatics Competitions and is an award winning Impromptu Speaker. Some of her proudest contibutions have been to the shows:Les Miserables, A Mid Summer Night's Dream and Alice in Wonderland. A Nationally awarded Shakespearean performer, Angela is always striving for excellence. After getting her BA at CSU Long Beach, Angela now resides in Long Beach with her husband and is an Award Winning Chef at Fleur De Lis Restaurant in Long Beach, Ca.

David has been involved with theatre for the past five years in productions such as Beth Hendly’s Crimes of the Heart, Shakespeare’s Tempest and Moliere’s Tartuffe. This is David’s debut with Masterpiece Mysteries

Jose Rosales as Oberon
Jose began acting in High School. He attended North Hollywood High School and under the direction of Master Shakespearian Teacher Ms. Diana Sweeny, he discovered a new love, as well as a new skill. Upon graduating he received the Esther Stodel Drama Award. He then attended Los Angeles Valley College where he perfroemd in numerous stage productions including, Arsenic and old lace, Icarus and Aria, etc. etc. Thereafter he went off to Hollywood to study with the Master Teacher Eugene Buica; under his direction he learned the Meisner Technique and the Michael Chekhov Technique -- and also about Life. Additionally, he studied with Stan Roth with whom he learned scene study and cold reading techniques, David Nathan Shwartz and Lisa Friedrickson who taught him all about the world of Improv and the word "Yes". Now he is back in North Hollywood studying the Michael Chekhov Technique with Master Teacher Lisa Dalton, along with the Michael Chekhov ensemble. I love you all!!

Kanaiving Kanai Williams as Demetrius
At a young age Kanai traded his desire to control the weather for good coping skills. Currently, he is a poet, playwright, player, and cog in the cosmic machine.

Kate Butterfield as Hermia
Kate played the part of Pepper in Annie, Mrs. Vardar in the Diary of Anne Frank, and Lydia in Disrespecting Lydia. Currently a Communications major, Kate has been acting since grade school. A Mid-Winter Night’s Murder marks Kate’s first production with Masterpiece Mysteries.

Kathleen Chen as Titania
This is Kathleen's first production with Masterpiece Mysteries and is very excited to be a part of this cast! Having studied the performing arts throughout high school and college, Kathleen is further building her career in acting, and especially in musical theatre. She has appeared in productions such as "Once on This Island" as Madame Armand/Andrea and "The Miracle Worker" as Annie Sullivan. She is currently a founding member of the Academy Repertory Company at the Academy of New Musical Theatre in Los Angeles. Kathleen received a B.A. in Sociology from UCSD and also teaches piano and pilates.

Mailage Maile Walker as Helena
Maile's been acting for as long as she could remember. Formerly a theatre major at Southern Oregon University, Maile has spent the past few years discovering Orange County theatre, behind the scenes as well as onstage. She has most recently appeared with Masterpiece Mysteries and Front & Centre as Crimea in A Royal Wedding and Anotinette in Phantom of the Library. Maile is thrilled to be playing Helena as she loves the role and A Midsummer Night's Dream is her very favorite Shakespearean play. "Thank you to my friends and family for their constant support."

Ryan Thomas as Puck!
Ryan is no stranger to the stage. He started performing in high school and has branched out to professional theater in the community. With thirteen different professional productions under his belt he is constantly looking for new challenges. He is currently working in the film industry on various projects and his resume is constantly growing. He currently attends California State Long Beach and is majoring in Broadcast Journalism. Ryan has also been professionally trained as a stunt performer and has recently used these skills to help him further his career.

Tiffany West as Moth
Tiffany has been performing since she was four years old and has appeared in a variety of productions ranging from church musicals to community theater. She also volunteers each year as a counselor at Arrowbear Drama camp for high school performers. In addition to acting and working in the music industry, she enjoys exploring her creativity through writing poetry and as a poetry contest winner has read her work on public radio. She most recently performed with Masterpiece Mysteries as the psycho psychologist Dr. Bryant in Phantom of the Library.
