Law & Order meets CSI Crime & Punishment Hands-On Crime-Solving Experience - Real crimes, real cases, a real-life opportunity to prove just how good a detective you are

PHASE I: HOMICIDE 101 There’s been a death. Foul play is suspected. As an investigative trainee, you visit the crime scene and work through the process of detection & deduction to establish motive, weapon and opportunity. You search for clues, gather evidence and ultimately charge your chief suspect…with murder!

PHASE II: BURDEN OF PROOF After a brief refreshment break, all assemble in the ‘court room’ to participate in a re-enactment of the actual trial. You may serve as a witness, juror, or assistant counsel for the prosecution or defense — the choice is yours. Once the jury has deliberated (in record-time) and a verdict has been rendered, the historic results of the original case and trial are revealed.

What happened to the suspect?
Was the crime scene contaminated?
And perhaps more interestingly, did the punishment fit the crime?  (Details)

At philanthropic fetes, participatory roles may be auctioned off as an additional and festive way to raise funds. Prior to the start of the show, the in-studio audience enjoys a variety “off-air” entertainment, including behind-the-scenes highjinx, singing performances straight from the Hit Parade and a quasi-comedic warm-up act.
