PREMISE: Savvy art dealers hope to make a
killing of a new and emerging artist, Ethan Morose. At the debut exhibition of his collection titled
Death Imitates Art a variety of colorful characters show up to add their own finishing touches to the festivities.
TIME: The present. THe actors are in plain clothes to blend in with the audience, thereby blurring the line between life and art
SETTING: A hip and happening art gallery..... most likely on 'the lower west side'
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION: As is our custom, we provide 13 participatory roles with dossiers, script & props. In this production there is an opportunity to go view the corpse(s) — an activity which brings many shocking facts and clues to light
