Alaine Alicia Laine Matheson as Daphne Sterling
Alicia is an honors graduate of the Academy of the Performing Arts in Huntington Beach where she participated in countless play festivals and performed in Grease, The Pirates of Penzance, and Once Upon A Mattress. She has been performing with Masterpiece Mysteries for several years and many of her favorite roles have been created as part of their Whodunnits and Front & Centre scenechronous productions, including: Jenny in Stages, D.A. Gallo in Systematic Symptoms, and Louisa in Ghost of the White Hart. In addition to acting, she sings in both choirs at her church; performs as a member of Otaku In Crime, an all-girl, 4-part harmony singing group which performs at various anime conventions; writes fiction and plays and draws when she has a break from college where she is studying music and digital arts.

The Mystery Maven Beth Caswell as Lady Violet Simms-Trenton-Tewksbury
Beth is known locally as the Mystery Maven, ambassadress to the world of mystery. Cincinnati Smith marks Beth's 6th production with playwright Sperry, beginning in 1999 with Beth's creating of the title role in the popular local play, Mrs. Boston's Tea Party. Chrissypoo! Christopher Lung as Prince Soren of England
Chris is a graduate of Principia college where he earned a degree in Music & Composition. He and playwright Sperry have been crossing paths on and off for the last 13 years and Chris has played Oberon in A Mid-Summer Night’s Murder , the irresistibly irreverent butler in The Ghost of the White Hart. the producer in the 1940’s Radio Show For Love or Money and most recently as Hamid in Cincinnati Smith & the Tomb of Doom. The MM crew always welcomes any chance to get to work with Chris who is currently working on composition of original theme music for Masterpiece Mysteries.

Fair Claire Claire Broderick as Arhchana of India
Claire is happy to be part of Cincinnati Smith, her first show with Masterpiece Mysteries. Avid SoCal theater-goers might remember Claire as Corrine in Triumph of Love at UCLA, Velma in West Side Story at the Westminster Community Theater, or Connie in Good News at IVC. Really avid SoCal theater-goers might remember her from University High School in Irvine where she played Julie in Carousel and fell off Noah's Ark as Yonuh in Children of Eden . Claire has studied voice, dance and acting all her life with amazing teachers including John Hall, Gary Busby, Ellen Prince and Patricia Goeser. When Claire grows up she wants to be a real live responsible person.

Hard Core! Corey Kirschbaum as Wendell Bancroft, III
Corey graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Accounting after which he worked for two years as a nationwide Seminar Speaker. His real loves are art, singing and acting. He has been a Karaoke Jockey and is an accomplished muralist and potter. He currently has a work-in-progress mural at the Community Hospital of Long Beach where he works as the Accounting Manager. He has previously appeared with Masterpiece Mysteries as Martin Toulouse in A Tale of Two Suspects, dual roles as Chief Inspector Crabbe and inept defense attorney Carl Bennett in Systematic Symptoms and as Raleigh Shields in the WWII era radio show For Love or Money

Go Katie! Kathryn Weisbeck as Meredith Wheeler
Kathryn Weisbeck is a recent alumni of Loyola Marymount University where she earned a BA in Dance and a BA in Musical Theatre. She was the choreographer for Jesus Christ Superstar there and ended up performing in it as well. It was a great experience and she learned a lot from it. Kathryn has had tremendous passion for the arts all her life. She has been dancing, acting and singing since she was very young and is extremely excited to kick off her professional career with such a fun show. She has had a great time with the cast and director of Cincinnati Smith and the Tomb of Doom and wishes everyone great success!

A Real Mate! Michael Durack as Cincinnati Smith
Mike began his acting career as a department store Santa Claus while on Christmas vacation during his junior year in college. Although he received a business degree from the University of Illinois and initially began a career as an accounting manager, his first love has always been acting. After acting in and directing several community theater productions in Chicago, he decided to leave the "security" of the corporate world to follow the dream. He has performed in films, commercials, musicals and stage plays in and around Los Angeles for the last nine years. Some of his stage play credits include Damn Yankees, The Fantasticks, Stalag 17, Chapter Two, Hamlet and most recently The Dining Room at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse earlier this year. His film roles include the evil Agent Nelson in the action film Con Games, and Larry, the homeless victim in Only in Hollywood, which won the Best Drama award at the 2002 New York Independent Film Festival. He is currently involved in co-producing and co-starring in the feature film Do You Love Me?, a romantic thriller due to be released next year

Hey Naani Naani Rodney Gober as Naani
Rodney hails originally from the Houston area of Texas, where he enjoyed an active background in theatre and the performing arts. Locally, a member of the Actors Co-op Theatre Company, he has appeared in many of the Co-op's award winning productions and critical successes. Some favorite California Credits include: The Magic Mirror Players (an accliamed Southland comedic improv troupe), LIGHT! (a contemporary Christian singing touring ensemble), DISNEY'S CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS 1000 Voice Chorus '93, '94, '95, and lead roles in : The Glass Menagerie, Becoming Memories, Rumors, and numerous productions of Godspell. A member of the Screen Actor's Guild, Rodney has been seen spanning the gamut of national, international and regional commercials, a bevy of game shows including guest impostor on To Tell the Truth, Jerry Matthers as 'The Beav', on The New Extreme Gong Show, and a pitiful two-time loser on The Dating Game. He is maniacally mirthful to be making his debut with the Masterpiece Mysteries menagerie, and sincerely hopes that all audience members are able to vicariously release any desire to fulfill any socially or criminally frowned upon activities that may be lurking in the crevices of their morbid minds by enjoying our show instead. Tee Hee! In addition to acting Rodney is also a Baptist minister and hopes one day to fuse the crafts of music and drama with the Gospel to specifically reach the disenfranchised and unchurched.
